How to configure an HDV module for 3600 series for modem conections ?

We have 2 3640 routers with one HDV module in both sides. Routers are connected with E1 leased line and HDV's are connected to PBX Meridian. We already have voice and Fax solution using VoFR signaling. We need to deploy modem solution for users, we know about "modem relay" feature in dial-pears configuration.

Does it work ?, How can we configure this ?

Help me understand this issue a little better so I can try helping you out. For this modem solution you want users to dial-in to the 3600 and access the voice/fax network? Can you describe your layout & objectives in more detail?
