Re: How to install CCM on third-party servers ?

The first thing you do is fine the models that are supported by third parties.

Cisco has tested and made CallManager available on IBM eServer xSeries 330 and 342 Servers.

HP/compaq Servers

DATACRAFT area a gold partner so I'm sure one of your colleauges knows what is required to install CM.

Its the same process as on Cisco purchased server.

Yes, you can install CCM on laptops. With earlier versions of Call Manager (Pre 3.2) the process was easier, starting with 3.3, you have to make changes to the registry on a regular Win2k install in order to intall the Call Manager.

If you know a Cisco SE you should be able to get the registry hack.
