how to install CIPC using Bat/Taps

what we have is a an upgrade CCM 3.3(3)4a to CCM 4.1(3)sr1. Have Version 1.3(3) softphones on clients, these won't work - need to upgrade to 1.3(4a) and new tsp. Instead would like to Automatically install CIPC 1.15 on clients (or as close to it).

looking to use BAT & TAPS for CIPC -

running BAT 5.13. my impression of this is:

create CIPC template with info as IP Phone (phone has 2 lines with same dn (diff partitions)), create a BAT file, using the "phone" tab (at bottom of spreadsheet) create with 2 lines and add unique fields not in template.

will this work using taps, since the DN is already in use (twice - DN1 & DN2 on IP Set), normally Taps fails if DN is not unique ... Does the CIPC take that into consideration? will go ahead and try this in lab,

If anyone has done this, please let me know how it went and if there are any concerns.

Also have all the original softphones, once CIPC working, just delete all these or do you need to delete first.

also what is the latest version of Taps (separate from BAT)
