How to install Subscriber

Publisher is 3.3.5sr1(3.34 upgraded to 3.35). I'm trying to rebuild Subscriber using 3.3.4 CD and of course it does not let me because CM version is different. I only have 3.34 CD and 3.35 upgrade file. What options do I have other than rebuilding the whole cluster?

Thanks.

Re: How to install Subscriber

With a Sub I always feel it is much easier and cleaner to just rebuild the server since it is the SUB anyway and not the PUB. Time wise too you are better of that way, it doesnt add much time to rebuild it

Re: How to install Subscriber

I know that SR's (service releases) can be uninstalled. So your best bet is to get 3.3.5 CDs through PUT and install the subscriber with 3.3.5 (provided you uninstall SR1 from publisher).

I dont think you can downgrade from 3.3.5 to 3.3.4 and then do a subscriber install and then upgrade both servers to 3.3.5 and SR1.

Another option is to migrate to 4.x if you have the CDs.

Easy fix, reinstall the whole cluster.
