How to move subscriber passwords with upgrade from 2.x to 4.0

Is there a tool that will export the passwords to the newer Unity version when going from 2.x? Or do we need to manually renter the subscriber passwords?

no, you'll have to manually recreate them (this is covered in the Full DB Import/Export help file). The passwords are stored in a one way hash (i.e. you can't unencrypt them, only check for a match). However the encryption format changed between 2.x and 3.x/4.x (i.e. it got stronger in 3.x) so you can't just carry it forward.
