How to query the Phones Serial numbers

Hi there,

does anyone know a way to query the phones or the cisco mib that will output the phones: Serial Number, Mac Address, Registration Status, IP address...

I would like to make one list with all this info.

To my knowledge there is not a way to query the serial number of an ip phone from snmp.

What we did was have our in house developer, write an asp that queries the http output from an ip phone and records the current ip address, mac address, and serial number.

It works quite well.

Doing the following query against your IP phone should give you all the relevant information in a nice XML format.
