How to reset the Auto-regist DN?

Our customer use auto-regist DN when they add new phone. They usually add the phone by using this auto-regist DN at first, then they change this number to correct one.

The CCM's are assigned 3800-3899 for this Auto-regist DN and this aim is for emergency when we install them, but...

This Auto-regist number is gradually decreasing.

How to reset this?

This DN scope are able to change to 37xx or 36xx if needed.

The CM uses the first number available in the scope, maybe you are not changing the description of the phone, so the CM is not using this DN.

The description of phones are cahnged to correct one when they change it from auto-registerd DN to correct one.

Is there any way for changing DNs???

CCM remembers the last AutoReg allocated; it doesn't just fill in the blanks... Just clear out the AutoReg under System>Call Manager by clicking the box under Auto-registration Disabled on this Cisco CallManager. Then Update the changes. Rekey the AutoReg numbers and you are back to your first Autoreg Number again after an update.
