How to send "#" to Telco in the Cisco CME

Our customer need to send a string to the Telco to make phone forward function.

for example:

"*57*<DN>#" to make the phone forward

"#57#" to cancel the forward

But the "#" is the default character in Cisco CME to terminate the digit input procedure. So we can't send this digit out to the telco.

Is there any way to solve this problem?

Use a translation rule/profile to append a # at the end of dialed digits..

Would that work if he needs a "#" at the beginning and end of the string?

You can change the dial-peer terminator to something else if it's not being used.

Can't you use prefix # command under the dial peer?
