The standard CallManager build CD's now install and enable the HP Insight Agents on the MCS platforms (which I'm guessing means that Cisco now support/endorse such a configuration but can't find it anywhere in writing?).
The standard Unity (4.0) build CD's do not install HP Insight Agents on the MCS platforms, though the MCS hardware usualy ships with the HP Smartstart CD from which you can load the Agents if you wish.
In my experience running the HP Insight Agents (provides SNMP mib extensions that cover lots of enviromental stuff on the box) on a CallManager or Unity platform don't cause any problems.
My question is one re: 'official' Cisco (TAC) support for using HP Insight Agents on Unity platforms - is it supported?
