Hunt list/pilot problem - urgent!

Hi,

I have the following strange problem with a hunt/pilot setup.

1- Created a line group existing of 3 DN's

2- Created a hunt list which includes the above line group

3- Created a hunt pilot which routes calls to above hunt list

The problem I am experiencing:

When I call the pilot number, the call arrives at the first DN defined in the line group. After 3-4 rings on that DN I receive a busy signal(!). A top-down approach was configured.

Why does the call not arrive on the 2nd DN in line if a no-answer state is received on the first DN.

I resetted all phones, hunt list and even rebooted the CCM's, running 4.1.3SR(2).

Thanks for giving any direction!

Peter

Re: Hunt list/pilot problem - urgent!

Peter, have you tried to change the order of the 3 DNs?

If you have the Line group:

1000

1001

1002

Try changing the order e.g:

1001

1002

1000

Now does it ring the first phone?

If it does not, then this phone is probably not reachable or not configured properly.

Thanks

Re: Hunt list/pilot problem - urgent!

Have you configured the following under the _Hunt Options_ of the Line group

No Answer

Busy

Not Avavilable

these fields should all be set to:

Try next member, but do not go to next group

(unless you have another Line Group, like maybe voicemail)

HTH,
