Hunt Pilot ID

Hi,

I am using CCM 4.1.3

I have 20 IP Phones which are supposed to ring all at once when call comes in. They are 7912 supporting single line, so I decided to use Hunts instead of share line.

With "default" config, caller sees an ID of a first IP phone in this group. This is not what I want callers to see. If I choose "Restricted" under "Connected Name Presentation" in Hunt Pilot config, I can block showing the name at all.

My question is it possible for me to decide which name is going to be shown? As I did not see any such option I tried to play with CTIs by creating new CTI route point with a Hunt Pilot number, specifying the name I want there, but it has no effect.

Thanks,

David

Re: Hunt Pilot ID

From call manager go to Route Plan>Route/Hunt>Hunt Pilot, click add a new Hunt pilot.enter the hunt pilot number in the Hunt pilot number field.

Before you create hunt pilot ensure that the following items are configured in cisco call manager

Hunt list

Partition(unless your are using none)

Route filter(unless you are using none).
