i am a beginner,how to set up an environment for develop phone service

If you want to use Java for development, you will need Eclipse IDE or NetBeans. You will need CCM (may be virtual) and IP Communicator (soft phone).

First, i was in a college lab environment to test my ip phone service.

what i did now:

1. Connected the ip phone to my PC by using a RJ45 cable. But it said, Configuring VLAN, Configuring IP, and host name was not found.

So how can i log into the call manager, will i have the privilege?

My PC installed IIS and CMSimu already.
