We are attempting to build out an IBM 7845 server with CM software. We load the OS 2.7/hardware detection disk and everything seems to work fine. The hardware sets up, The OS loads, The inital Windows screen pops up and then the server reboots as part of the setup. After that the sever just comes back with the following Error:
199 Processor Technology mismatch detected. We're locked up from there.
We tried the same process on another server and the same thing happens.
We first attempted 2000 2.4 but got and error saying the disk does not support this hardware platform. Thats when we moved to 2000 2.7a. The Release notes on 2.7a says that the IPM server MCS-7845-I1-IPC1 is supported. We opened a TAC case and the AVVID team said we should run 4.1 OS (I'm not sure why the release notes say 2.7a and TAC says 4.1). Anyway now we are trying to get our hands on 4.1. From what I can gather this only ships with CM 4.2.
