ICM CTI Driver for Siebel 7

According to the "Cisco ICM Software CTI Driver for Siebel 7 Reference Guide Cisco CTI Version 5.1" the driver only runs on a Windows2000 platform.

http://www.cisco.com/application/pdf/en/us/guest/products/ps14/c1225/ccmigration_09186a00801b322b.pdf

Can someone:

1) Confirm the validity of the above statement

2) Indicate if it is possible for any other non-windows based drivers to be used

3) Make any other suggestions

4) Links to Cisco/Siebel Documentation

If you have questions about what we are doing, please reply to "ALL" on this distribution.

Thank you for your help.

If you think it makes sense to put the techies on a call to discuss, let me know so I might coordinate.

Josh

Re: ICM CTI Driver for Siebel 7

I have programmed and used siebel 7 with CTIOS (the web version and thin client version on XP and 2000. It works fine.

CTIOS with 6.0 is releasing a Java CIL that can be programmed for use with Linux. But that is custom work. The APIs are open and so, it should not be difficult to make a cti client that runs on linux. Let me know if ur questions were answered otherwise send me an email to sthallik@berbee.com
