I have changed my SA password in ICM. now my icm is not functioning. What could be reason? how to sort out. (i don't know the previous password)

Did you try setting the password to blank, i.e, no password for sa? If No, try that out.

The ICM application generates and sets a random password on the SQL Server at the time of installation. ICM will need to be reinstalled on the Logger or Distributor wherever the change occured. This should resolve your issue.

What version of ICM are you running as the sa password was changed in 4.6.2.
