ICS 7750

In ICS 7750, can the two Ethernet ports on SSP card be used for IP phones. I just want to make a call between two IP phones and was wondering if the ports on SSP card be used or I will have to have a 3500 inline power Catalyst switch.

If I could use the ports on SSP card, then where the power for phones will come from?

Regards,

Re: ICS 7750

You can use the ports on the SSP for ethernet connectivity, but you will also need to plug the IP phone into an electrical outlet (using a power adapter brick) to power them since the SSP does not have inline power.
