ICS7750 console

Has anyone had the console port lock up. I've tried resetting the sap card with not success.

If the console screen connected to the system alarm processor (SAP) console port appears frozen or fails to work properly, check for the following problems:

Make sure the console cable is properly connected to the correct console port on the SAP at one end and to your terminal at the other end. Verify that you are using the correct type of cable and adapter. (For information about pinout connections,You can go through the following URL:

Make sure the cable is not defective or broken. Replace the cable with another high-quality cable, if necessary. Then observe whether the console port starts working. If this is a password recovery issue please refer the following document:
