IE 6

Two clients I work with have installed the IE6 browser and are experincing problems accessing the Unity System Admin page. One can get the opening page to appear and go into say the Subscribers page but trying to look at the greetings for the account it just sits I can click and click and it never changes the page. The other gets partial pages one frame or the other will not display or maybe the frames but no content. Any ideas, is System Admin compatiable with IE6.<br><br><br>Anthony Duval<br>Systems Engineer <br>Special Order Systems<br>aduval@team-sos.com<br>

IE 6 is currently not qualified for support (we are testing it now) but you can use 5.0sp2 or 5.5sp2 with the lastest security fixes for Nimda.

http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/788/AVVID/ex_serv_packs.html shows supported versions of software needed for Unity.

Cisco has not committed to full support of IE 6.0 until the release of Unity 3.1. We discovered some items not working during development testing and are resolving these. Do not upgrade IE 6.0 until 3.1.

This should not be construed as a full support for this new version of the browser:

For Unity 2.4.6 -
IE 6.0 does not have any impact on either SA or AA. It works fine on both NT4 as well as Win2K servers and machines.

For Unity 3.0(1) -
IE 6.0 is able to serve up the AA without any problems. For SA, we get into situations where the links on the second level in the SA do not work. We have identified the defect in the code and working on making changes. The changes should be part of the Unity 3.0(2) release.
