I have CM version 3.2 (2c) and I work for a bank. I was given an excel spreadsheet of customers names and phone numbers. Is there a way to import that into a directory on the 7940 or 7960 phones so that when a customer on that list calls in his/her name will show on the caller ID.
I am not sure how it could be done, but I think, you could use the Cisco Call Manager feature Personal Directory to access the stored data of names and phone numbers from Microsoft Outlook express . It may be possible with excel sheet too.
