This used to work fine, and no changes have been made, but all of a sudden I cannot add in existing Exchange users into Unity.

If I click on add subsriber, import existing user, the domain dropdown is blank and I cannot find any exchange users to import, when there should be plenty to choose from.

It is as if Unity doesn't know how to query the exchange information. Voicemail is working fine however, I just cant add any new subscribers.

I'm logging on using the Exchange Service Account username as I always have.

sounds like maybe something got hosed in the registry key where we get the domain list from or the server information for the Exchange box we're connected to (on or off box) or something along those lines.

If you use the AvImport tool found in the Unity program group, does it show you standing mail users then? Can you create a new test user via the SA (i.e. as opposed to importing a standing mail user)? Just curious if that works...

I successfully added them using the AVimport Utility. Does this help?

I cannot manually create a test user via the SA because I cannot select the mailserver to add them into... it is blank.

Yeah, that gives me something to work with... let me run it down. In the meantime, if you can get me terminal services access into that box a little later I can pop in there and look around our registry keys to see if anything is unusual. Ping me at my corporate email address (below) if you can set something like that up.

Unfortunately, terminal services is not an option for us.

I also had a problem today where I was told that my account's (the one I've always used) class of service does not allow access to SAWeb. I had to go in under my personal account, change the COS to default subscriber, then back to default administrator. Then it worked fine.

I have never lost the ability to open up the Exchange Administrator software to get into Exchange from the Unity box, so it's not a network or communication problem. But it is as if my SAWeb has no way of communicating to Exchange.

The exchange import issue may be related to a recently found bug that the SA/DB folks are working on. I'll follow up to the below thread when I get some info on it:
