Importing Users from Exchange 2000

I can view some Exchange users to import and others I can not. What is the problem.

Re: Importing Users from Exchange 2000

I would suspect that either the AvDsGlobalCatalog service (the Unity component that enumerates "importable" Unity subscribers) doesn't have permissions to see the users in question (those users may reside in a different container or Domain, or belong to a certain security group), or Unity mistakenly thinks the users in question are already Unity subscribers.

For the first possibility, I'd check to see if the users that cannot be seen are in a different container, domain or group than the users that can be see.

For the second issue, we'd have to check some AD attributes on the users that cannot be imported. Have you used ADSIEDIT or LDP before?

You can also use this tool rather than ADSIEDIT or LDP if it's issue #2:
