While we're on the phone, each time an incoming call rings in on an available line we get a single beep in our ear. This is driving our receptionist nuts as she has many lines and many incoming calls. It's making it difficult for her to hear the current caller.
Does anyone know a way to turn this notification off??
Thanks,
Lisa

If you go to Service | Service Parameters, go to the appropriate server, then choose the Cisco CallManager service, there is a parameter called "ToneOnCallForward". Try setting that to False, I've never tried it but it looks like it is what you are looking for. Be warned, it is a system-wide setting.

If someone tried to turn this off, please post the results, we just want to turn off the beep for the shared lines on the expansion module not the lines on the phone.

just finished testing this. Setting the ToneOnCallForward to False does cancel out the beep on incoming calls on the expansion module.
Thanks for the advice.
