Hi,
Does anyone know if there is a way to map an incoming call CLI number to the correct entry in the corporate or personal directory in Callmanager 3.1, so that on 7940 and 7960 phones you can see who is calling you? Just like on a mobile/cell phone?
Is this a function supported in CallManager.
Cheers
Jim

Nope... not a way to do this yet. At least not natively with CallManager.

Hello, If you mean to display the name instead of the CLIP ID on the phone itself, my answer would be negative. The XML services on the phone do not allow you to do this ( as far as I know) . However this can easilly be accomplished by writing a little application on your desktop which will get triggered when a new call arrives on your phone. This app can then lookup the CLI in any database and display an apropriate name or any other information.
The result would not be visible on the phone itself, but it can popup on your PC
