Incoming calls with SRST

I'm trying to configure incoming calls on a 2801 in SRST mode using an FXO port. Everything works fine normally using MGCP. When in SRST mode, outbound calls work great, but incoming calls will not complete. You get a busy signal after 2 rings. I have tried using "alias 1 T to 2401" command, but no success. I've also tried "connection plar 2401" in voice port configuration. Any ideas?

Thank,

Brandon

Hi

Try to add to your configuration:

call application alternate default

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/partner/tech/tk1077/technologies_tech_note09186a0080144630.shtml

If it does not help do some debugs:

debug voip dialpeer all

Through which port do incomming calls come from PSTN to your router?

Which dial-peer is "incomming dial-peer" for incomming calls from PSTN:

did you set default-destination ?

..agree, post your config

I tried using the default-destination command although according to the following link the alias command takes precedence over default-destination and is the recommended command. Config is posted above.

you tried, and it didn't work?

quote for default-destination

Usage Guidelines

The default-destination command assigns default destination numbers when a call arrives at a foreign exchange office (FXO) port without called number information. A default directory number is required to route the call.

If a default destination number is set, calls arriving on an FXO port are routed to the default destination number that is provided. If a default destination number is not set, calls arriving on the FXO port receive a secondary dial tone. The caller must then enter an extension number.

Yes, I used "default-destination 2401" in call-manager-fallback configuration. Still got fast busy after 2 rings. 2401 is the first DN of a phone that registers with the gateway during SRST.
