Re: Info needed for Backup Solution for Unity Server

There is a topic in the README.HTM file under the \documentation directory on CD #1 of your install set that covers the details of backing up and restoring a stand alone Unity server (a voice mail only install, not incorporated into an existing Exchange site). Is this what you're looking for?

Re: Info needed for Backup Solution for Unity Server

Yes, that will do for now as we are VM only at this time. Will this backup the Entire server including Vm messages?

Thanks!

Yes, if you configure it to.

Re: Info needed for Backup Solution for Unity Server

I do not know your server configuration so don't know if this will be useful or not. Our Unity Server is on a mirrored drive configuration using hot swappable drives. To backup the server we take a drive out and put a new one in. We now have an extra drive that can be used for disaster recovery. We use Compaq servers and have found this to work good.
