Install of 3.1(2) MAPI Errors

When installing 3.1(2) we are having difficulty getting the AvCsMgr to start. It looks like it initializes properly but then we receive an error:<br><br>"An attempt to access Exchange Private Store has failed: 8004011c. The MAPI subsystem return the following error: Your profile is not configured."<br><br>Once this error occurs all services for Unity AvCsMgr then shut down or reverse themselves. We have double checked all User profile logon information and all seems to be correct. Any ideas would be appreciated.<br><br>

New install or an upgrade? Have you completed part 2 of the setup (i.e. the configuration setup) OK? No errors during that section?

If you've done the part 2 setup, you can go ahead and blow away the existing profile and Unity Messaging System account in AD and restart Unity. The DOH will create both the account and the message profile and link them up properly at startup which should clear your problem here.

You'll find the profile in the registry under:

HKEY_USERS\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Unity System Profile

and/or here:

HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Unity System Profile

Remove these from the registry and then delete the "Unity Messaging System - " account from AD or NT/Exchange 5.5. Restart your server and it should fix the MAPI profile thing anyway.
