Install Summary of Unity 3 at Reed Elsevier

We have installed Unity3 as follows:-<br><br>Win2000 server installed as a member server joining the exchange domain.<br><br>Installed USB Key driver, thou no activation code was available and the system was installed as a 2 port demo.<br><br>Installed MSDE as per instructions<br><br>Installed IE5<br><br>Installed MS Message Queuing <br><br>Installed Exchange Admin 5.5 plus SP4<br><br>Installed Unity<br><br>Installed Win2000sp2<br><br>However when we ran the configuration tool after putting the correct LDAP port which was the default and exch. name, The message "Can not connect to Exchange Server" appears and we abort the configuration.<br><br>The network uses win2000 servers but does not use active directory. <br><br>The follows tests were carried out:-<br><br>We can ping the email server using IP address or Name. <br>We can administer exchange form the unity box.<br>We can install outlook and use an account on the email server.<br>When we run syschk all tests succeed including the LDAP tests except the "Can not connect to Exchange Server" and the suggestion that we install exch. 5.5 with sp4.<br>We changed the LDAP port number from its default and these brought about additional errors, as expected.<br><br>Dave White<br><br><br><br>

Has any one else got this problem. Can Cisco give any help to the problem.
