Installation Problem MCS7825-H1

When I try to install OS 2000.4.1 on a DL320 G3 I'm receiving the error that the C: cann't be formated ! The sata raid is enabled in the bios.

Any ideas ?

Kind Regards.

Re: Installation Problem MCS7825-H1

You need to put the SATA drivers on a floppy disk and during the installation you will be prompted to "add addtional disk drivers" which I believe is the key F6. At this point you would put the disk in the drive and add the disk drivers manually. I do not remember exactly where the drivers you need are located but they can definatly be found at the HP support web site.

So you used the Hardware detection disk, and are following instructions according the documentation?

i.e. disable hyperthreading
