I have a mixture of CCM version 3.1, 3.2, 3.3 and am being asked by the local IT support groups for these clusters if they can install VERITAS' NetBackup utility onto their CCM servers to integrate them into the corporate SAN policy rather than using the Cisco Backup tool to backup to a tape drive.
Does anyone know if Cisco support this configuration?
I have not used Veritas backup on a CCM system but I definitely have used the Windows Backup utility that comes bundled with the server to backup the whole system partitions to a tape backup. The callmanager backup utility will only backup the database.
Also i read this clause in a document which says, Cisco TAC does not support third party backup tools.
