Intermittant Delays Retrieving Msgs, on Login, and exit

I have a client that is experiencing sometimes extreme delays in the time between prompts when Retrieving Msgs, on Login, Message Deletion, and Exit when retreiving messages via phone. The problems are not tied to specific accounts, do not depend on number of messages in an account, and seem random. I have verified the switch settings, and cannot reproduce the errors at will, but have seen them, sometimes in excess of 50 seconds.

The specs are as follows:

Unity 4.0 (2)

Call Manager 3.3(2)

Exchange off the box

Any help or pointer in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ray,

There are a few mailbox diagnostic tools that TAC would use to diagnose such an issue. If the 'normal' connection to Exchange has been changed (ie, duplex settings mismatch), there are also network causes for such an event which TAC might guide you through quicker than our posts here. Please include topology information regarding the Exchange environment as well.
