invalid account password

trying to install Unity 2.4 on win2000 server. Have corrected LDAP problem, now install stops at account password. When you enter the password Unity installer says account password is invalid. I know the password is correct. Please help.......<br><br>

I’ve seen this same behavior on both NT 4 and Win2K if you’re missing one or two of the rights needed (I think it was “act as part of the OS” and “log on as service” off the top of my head). SysCheck is suppose to catch this and setup runs SysCheck in silent mode at the beginning. Unfortunately there was a logic flaw in SysCheck where they were assuming membership in the local Admins group snagged these rights, which it doesn’t by default. Once it got to the PW check, however, it choked and threw up that same error.

That’s the only time I’ve seen this happen. Double check that your install account has those for the specific account you’re using…
