IOS bug in SIP call setup: Non-incrementing CSeq header field value

We encountered an issue with our Cisco 2621 GW in call set-up with some SIP phones and SIP servers. The Cisco sends problematic re-invite messages which doesn't get any positive response to it because the Cisco does not increase the CSeq header value in the re-INVITE messages !

does anyone know how to resolve the issue of in Cisco? Maybe we should use a different version of IOS.

hi,

you should try if it happens with latest 12.4 as well.

If it does, you need to seek help from the tac in case a bug nedd to be located or filed as new.
