IOS File Naming Convention?

I have a 2610 with a 2V-NM module and 1-2FXS card, currently running c2600-is-mz.122-11.T3.bin.

Since Cisco has been relabling their IOS's from what was just IP Plus to other as IP Plus Basic W/O Switching and have changed the file naming convention to add either a 4 or 5 after the is. Is their a chart to show which current file correlates to the past naming convention?

I do believe I have used the is4 one in the past.

Thanks for any info that you can provide.

Brian,

The Cisco IOS Reference Guide at http://www.cisco.com/warp/customer/620/1.html might help you find what you want.

Re: IOS File Naming Convention?

I knew most of the information that is in the sheet but their was some that I did not know at all. There are still a few things that are not in the link but I thank you for it and will save it in my FAV. I will go from that page to look to see if there is a newer one that explains the 4 and 5 in the image name.

Thanks again!

Happy New Year
