Hi,
I need to beak out fax calls which are received through an MGCP gateway (e1) to a router which is running the IOS fax onramp TCL script.
I was going to configure a route pattern in CCM for my 2 fax numbers & point these to the TCL router.
Then my calls would come through my MGCP gateway & get passed off to the IOS router.
My concern is that I won't have any POTS dial peers on the IOS gateway - will this work & if so do I need ip / ip gateway feature set ?
Thanks for any help,
Paul.

For onramp/offramp, the call has to come in via a POTS leg. It doesn't work if the call comes in via VoIP. The router basically wants to negotiate with the remote fax machine via a POTS leg.
