I have a couple of questions regarding the new IOS release 12.2(2)XT1 and IOS telephony services. I am currently testing some of the new features in this new release on a 3640 with three 7940 phones.
Is it normal not to be able to bring a second line up when a call is on hold, to dial another phone, unless that extension has two line appearances? I mention this because in Callmanager if I put someone on hold I can dial another phone and then transfer them whilst only having one line appearance on that phone. In IOS telephony service I have to have two line appearances to do the same thing.
In addition, has anyone got the IVR function working yet, if so I would be interested in seeing what the configuration looks like.
