IOS Telephony Service and SRST is the same?

In reply to a previous post I made asking about SRST as a stand-alone telephony solution, I received an answer affirming that SRST is not the same than IOS Telephony Services. That guy told me that IOS Telephony Services is not available at the moment and it is scheduled for release later this year.

Is it true????

SRST is for a situation when call manager link goes down, IOS telephony service is a standalone IP telephony solution for a small organization. see

IOS telephony service is available now. See your Cisco account rep or reseller to purchase licenses and equipment. It is not free. Also follow the link there are limits as to how many phones that can be supported based on the platform used.
