IP Communicator Admin Program on Call Manager 5.04

I am trying to install IP Communicator Admin Program onto a Call Manager 5.04, which is the locked down Linux version.

EVERY document says I should run the program from the server. I am unable to find a way to do this.

Anyone know how to actually install the administrator program?

Just an update.

The admin program will NOT work on the Linux version of CM.

Final Update:

You need to bypass the Admin tool part in IPC documentation. Of course you'll loose that functionality as well.

In CCM 5.x, you will add IPC (Product Type: "Cisco IP Communicator") with Device Protocol of "SCCP" - as per CCM documentation:

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/c_callmg/5_0/sys_ad/5_0_4/ccmcfg/b06phone.htm

Also, in CCM 5.x you don't have to use the MAC address for Device Name for IPC.

I posted this information to help others, just incase anyone actually uses the search NetPro feature. ;)
