IP Communicator- controling the ports used

Hi

I have recently used an analyser to examine the ports used by the IP Communicator during its boot sequence and found the following.

TFTP request is made from P.C/softphone to Callmanager on UDP port 69 but it uses a source port from the ephemeral range udp (1024 to 4999)

So for example the softphone picks udp source port 1485 to destination udp 69 and the CallManager accepts the request and replies on source port udp 1485.

Does anyone know if its possible to reduce this range? it will make configuring personal P.C firewalls easier.

Regards

Colin

I don't think it is possible to reduce the range.
