IP communicator reinstall error

Hello,

When i reinstall the ip communicator in my laptop, i have this error :

"Error 1722. There is a problem with this windows installer package.A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.Contact your support personnel or package vendor"

Please any idea to correct this ?

Probably the media driver got corrupted when it crashed machine during the

AutoUpdate. The workaround is to manually remove or uninstall the Cisco

Media driver from the Windows device manager.

WORKAROUND: Access the Device Manager and manually remove the Media Driver

and launch the installer again.

Steps to remove the media driver:

Right click my computer -> manage

Click on device manager

Expand 'Cisco Media Devices'

Right Click on 'Cisco Media Termination' -> select uninstall

Reboot the system, then try the IP Communicator install program
