I am using an IP Communicator softphone ver 2.1, after successfully registering to the Call Manager and made a call I have received an error message "not enough bandwidth". I am using Vista as my OS with my laptop. With my XP I haven't experienced this type of problem. Is it OS related or what other possible cause of this problem. Thanks

Hi, where is located your laptop with the CIPC, in a brach office or in the HQ.
If it is in a brach office, what codec you are using for calls, g711 or g729?
Also, make sure that the Location configuration assigned to the CIPC has enough bandwidth for the calls. (a call to g711=80kbps, 1 call to g729=24kbps)
Hope this help

thanks, we adjust the location configuration and increase the bandwidth and that resolves the problem, thanks again.
