Our laptop users have two hardware profiles on their laptops. One is LAN, and the other is wireless. When users are in LAN mode, wireless NIC is disabled. When users are in Wireless mode, LAN NIC is disabled. Is there a way to have IP communicator choose the correct NIC while users switch hardware profile?
We had a similar problem using IBM access connections. You have to change the client piece to keep the second NIC on, even if it is disabled. I worked with TAC and we found no way to avoid this, but luckly the newest version of Access connections made it possible.
