IP Communicator

I've just upgraded to CallManager 5.1.2 from 4.x. We had people using IP Communicator on 4 and we upgraded their clients to 2.1 after the CM upgrade.

Before the upgrades they were able to dial contacts from Outlook and it would use IP Communicator. After the upgrade this will not work.

I wasn't here when they originally set up this feature and I have no idea how to do it. Additionally I cannot find any directions on CCO. Is it even a supported feature in cm5/ipc2?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Justin

Re: IP Communicator

The issue would be that the feature that is used to do this is TSP Dial. After upgrading to CM 5.1(2), you need to upgrade the version of TSP Dail as well. Please download and install TSP Dial from https://:8443/plugins/CiscoTSP.exe and install it on the client machines.

Please check the following link for information on configuring TSP

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/voice/vpdd/cdd/5_0/tapi/tpdevch2.htm

Though this link is for CM 5.0(4), the same is valid for CM 5.1(2)

Hope this helps.
