IP Conference Station 7935

Hi everybody,

3 questions about 7935 :

Question 1 :

I loaded on the Device Default the latest load : P00503010300 and however the 7935 boot on the P00503010200 ( the previous image) - any idea ?

Question 2 :

Does it exist a french version for 7935, in the Web interface only "english" version is available

Question 3 : Corp Dir softkey on 7935

In the admin guide they say :

" Press the Corp Dir softkey" to access the DC Directory - bug I can't fing this softkey

Q1 - Ensure that the phone load under CCM is correct and that the file exisits in the TFTP directoy. Reset all 7935's

Q2 - Not sure, think its only english on web interface

Q3 - We had the same problem until we upgraded our existing 3.1(4b) to 3.3(2) then the Corp Dir appeared on the phone next too Phone Dir

Q1 : The file exist but is not loaded, I use CCM 3.3(2) - I don't know why ????

Q2 : OK

Q3 : "Phone Dir" means "Phone Book" ?

Is it located in the menu after Phone Book ?

Yes, sorry phone dir is the phone book. It appears as follows:

Corp Dir Phone Book

Phone book to the far right with Corp Dir on the left of it. This is on the main screen not under the menus.

I had a similar problem with loads going from 3.1.3 to 3.2. This was my resolution:


7935 will not upgrade from P005W301 or earlier to P005B302


The 7935 Conference Station will not upgrade from P005W301 or earlier loads

to the P005B302 load.

When attempting to upgrade from P005W301 or earlier to P005B302 the phone will go

through "Configuring IP" and then show "Upgrading 0% Done" for several minutes.

Then, the display shows "File Not Found on TFTP Server. Using Existing Version".

The phone will then register to CallManager with the existing version.

Also, the file P005B302.bin is correctly located in the C:\Program Files\Cisco\TFTPPATH folder.


This problem occurs when attempting to upgrade a 7935 Conference Station from

P005W301 or earlier to P005B302.


Upgrade the phone to P005A302 first. Then the 7935 will be able to upgrade the

load from P005A302 to P005B302.

Thanks for your help but in fact it was not a load version issue.

I have had a problem with my TFTP server which was not located on the CCM

Ensure that there is no phone load specified for the phone DN, as this will take precedant over what is set within device defaults.
