IP ICD Agent Desktop Login errors

We have the Agent and Supervisor Desktop software set up for 2 user profiles on a PC (Win2k).

But it works only with one of the users, when the second user logs into the machine, the Agent and Supervisor software do not start and come up with licensing errors or file not found/insufficient rights. Both the users have administrative rights on the PC and yet the problem persists.Any thoughts.

Thanks

Anu

Re: IP ICD Agent Desktop Login errors

Make sure both users have a drive mapped to \\\desktop_cfg and ensure both users have Read/Write permissions for that folder on the server. That is typically when you will see that licenseing error.

Both the users have drive mapped to \\crsipaddr\desktop_cfg and the folder on the server has read/write permissions for all users.

Re: IP ICD Agent Desktop Login errors

I looked into the agent log and it says that there were no more licenses available,Is there a way to release an existing license and make this user obtain one.

Thanks

Re: IP ICD Agent Desktop Login errors

Looks like the agents are getting locked up.

You can reset the CTI Manager & this shoudl relese the license.

Re: IP ICD Agent Desktop Login errors

Hi Anu,

Check if the user is able to browse the Desktop_CFG folder on the CRA server.

Re: IP ICD Agent Desktop Login errors

Can you type in the Exact Error message you get while logging on and the error message in the log.

Please confirm that you can read / write to a file on the Desktop_CFG folder using both the users.

thanks

Aslam.
