IP ICD and remote Cisco Agent Desktop

Hi,

I have found problems using ICD 3.0 and Cisco Agent Desktop.

Here is my lab cenario:

Central site have CCM3.2, CRS 3.0(ICD and IVR), VG200 with WAN link and PSTN leg.

Remote Site with 2610 with WAN link and PSTN leg.

All works fine except the CAD's. I can only make it work with g711 codec. CCO refers to use a transcoder.

My question is: Can i use the one in central site? How does transcoding happens between IP Phone/IVR/CAD's ?

Theproblem is that when cad(with media termination, softphone or ip phone) is in g729 region, the status flashes between "reserved" then "ready".

Any ideas ?

Thanks in advance.

Look over these release notes to see if they answer your question. You may need to contact the TAC for assistance with this.

Re: IP ICD and remote Cisco Agent Desktop

Hi,

Indeed you need a transcoder to be able to call from g729 regions to cti route points. (Already solve this issue in lab)

My current problem is that when i try to "offer" a icd call to agents in g729(over wan) their status starts "flapping" between Ready and Reserved. The logs did not show anything special.

Any idea?

Sergio
