Is it safe to increase the max supported ad-hoc conference to 10 from the default of 4?

Re: IP Media Streaming App

Increasing the ad-hoc conference to 10 is perfectly safe, since the max is 48. A software conference with IP voice media streamer cannot exceed the maximum limit of 48.

Re: IP Media Streaming App

do you have a solid dsp farm? if not you might not want to rush into overextending your resources. Conferences take up a fixed amt of cpu. This is why the limit is there in the first place. Doing this on a call manager without the resources will cause call drops QOS issues....
