IP phone 7940/60 ring type limiting

I have a IP Contact Center project 24 7940 phones ( CCM & third company call center) and 30 Office IP phones.

I need to limit the ring type to one ring type only to the IP contact center group

what i should do?

as far a i know the only way to do this, is to delete the ring files on the call manager (or move them somewhere else)

Even if you delete the actually ringer files you will still see the rings in the list. That comes from the ringlist.xml. I am not sure there is really a good way to do this.

You need to remove the listings in the ringlist.xml file on the publisher (take a backup first).

If you do this you will be left with the two basic rings Chirp1 & 2 I think it is, these are in hardware you cant remove these.
