IP Phone Agent Service Configuration?

I'm able to find all sorts of user guides for the IP Phone Agent Service but not a single install / configuration guide.

I just need to know how to set up the IP Phone service so that my agents can login. Can somebody point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance.

• From the menu at the top of the page, click Feature > Cisco IP Phone Service.

• Click Add a New IP Phone Service

• On the Cisco IP Phone Services Configuration page, enter the following information:

Service Name: IP Phone Agent

Service Description: IP Agent Phone Service

Service URL (case sensitive):


• Click Insert to create the new IP phone service.

Associate all the phones that will be using IP Phone Agent to your rm_user, and tick the ICD extension radio button under all the users device associations.

Hi James,

You will find the "Installation Guide" is what you need:

- Browse to

- Click 'Products and Services', and then 'Customer Contact Software'

- From the results list, find and click 'IPCC Express Edition'

- From the menus on the left, click 'Installation Guides', and you should see either the 4.3 or 4.5 Editions, for IPCC Express 3.0(3a) and 3.1(1) respectively.
