Re: ip phone fastdial

Sandeep,

Read further down into the section Rob provided. Under the section Speed Dials and Abbreviated Dialing you will see the section on this. Abbreviated dialing is what you want to use. You will have to dial the number then the abbreviated dial softkey, that is how Cisco does it. You would also need to use the system wide directory entry option since you would like all users and a value over 33.

Please note the restrictions below.

Restrictions

On-hook abbreviated dialing using the Abbr soft key is supported only on the following phone types:

?Cisco IP Phone 7905G

?Cisco IP Phone 7912G

?Cisco IP Phone 7920G

?Cisco IP Phone 7970G

?Cisco IP Phone 7971G-GE

Thanks

Fred

Re: ip phone fastdial

Hi Sandeep,

Here is some info for configuring fastdial / speedial in CME;

Speed-Dial Features

Cisco CME provides a number of mechanisms to implement speed dialing on IP and analog phones. This link provides a summary and comparison of the different types of speed dial that are available in Cisco CME systems.
