IP Phone Message

Scenario: CME 4.0 with NO VM.

user requires that when he/she does not answer the phone either because busy or DND the calling IP PHONE located on the same LAN, receives a message stating the above fact.

presently system re-routes to the operator.

The Callback Feature is now available in CallManager 4.0. This will solve the issue for being busy. Not sure if anything can be done about a call forward no answer. Check out this link:

Just to clarify,

i just want the phone to display an unavailable message and/or return a busy tone etc.
